SNAP Benefits & Debit Cards
May 18th, 2010Beginning this weekend at the City Market we will be able to accept SNAP benefits and you will be able to use Debit cards. The booth will be set up next to the Managers table at the City Market.

The City of Charlottesville is proud to annouce the opening of a brand new farmers market. The Market at Pen Park is schedule to open May 4th this year and will run every Tuesday, 3pm-7pm. It will be located directly in front of the playground. Bring your kids you are sure to have a blast.

I am working very hard to get application ready to mail. You may download these and mail them in if you would like. Our spaces will be reserved again this year. Vendors who had them last year will have first dibs. If there are any open space I will then look at the Non-reserved vendors that have been coming to the market and what I feel the market is lacking and fill any empty spaces.
